July 15, 2026 - DARIT Technologies, a company specializing in counter-drone solutions, is proud to be among the partners contributing to the Defence Innovation Secure Hub (DISH) NEXuS initiative.

Initiated by Espace Aéro, the NEXuS project (National Experimentation for X-Domain Uncrewed Systems) is led by a strategic coalition that brings together Canada's Department of National Defence and BOREALIS, Quebec's Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy (MEIE), the Canadian Joint Operations Command (CJOC), Aéroports de Montréal (ADM), the Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace in Quebec (CRIAQ), as well as nine innovative SMEs, including DARIT Technologies, ARA Robotique, Balko Technologies, BEONYX ROBOTICS Inc., C3RiOS Systems, CS Group Canada, Laflamme Aéro Inc., Marconi Technologies, and Octasic.

Based at the YMX Innovation Centre in Mirabel and supported by a dedicated testing airspace, DISH NEXuS will receive $29.6 million in funding over two years to establish and operate the Defence Secure Innovation Hub for Uncrewed Systems (DSIH UxS), helping accelerate the development and integration of autonomous systems across the air, land, and maritime domains.

As part of this initiative, DARIT Technologies will contribute to the “Counter-UxS and RAS” use case, one of the program's nine core activities. Aligned with the operational priorities of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), this stream aims to accelerate the development of next-generation defence capabilities through a research and development approach structured around concrete use cases that address Canada's strategic defence challenges.

DARIT's contribution will support the design, testing, and validation of sovereign, operational capabilities and prototypes that can be rapidly transferred to CAF end users.
